Misbah hits form as Pakistan lose again
LINCOLN: New Zealand’s President XI beat Pakistan by a wicket in the second warm up match played at Lincoln near Christchurch.

Batting first Pakistan set the opposition 268 to win mainly due to skipper Misbah ul Haq’s unbeaten 88.

Pakistan got off to a bad start losing openers Hafeez (18) and Sarfraz (0) cheaply. Harris, Younis and Sohaib Maqsood followed without any significant contribution.

Misbah and Umer Akmal then got together to add 116 for the 6th wicket. Umer Akmal got 77 and Misbah remained unbeaten on 88.

In Reply the President XI achieved the required target for the loss of 9 wickets handing Pakistan their second defeat in the warm up games.
