Police get 14-day remand of extortion killer
KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) remanded a man accused of killing a factory manager over extortion money into police custody for 14-days.

The criminal Abdul Rahim had killed the manager of a factory in Karachi on 07 January after he refused to pay Rs 2,000 in extortion.

Abdul Rahim when presented in court said he had been threatened of being killed if he did not carry out the murder.

On Monday, Rahim was arrested during a raid in the Gabol Town area of the Karachi and presented before the media. While admitting to the murder, Rahim said he had been threatened of dire consequences for himself and his family by a person named Anwar if he failed to carry out the crime.
