Altaf for holding peaceful protest demos against extra-judicial killings
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief ALtaf Hussain has appealed for shutting down business and transport in Sindh and recording protest by holding peaceful demonstrations in other provinces against killing of Sohail Ahmed today (Thursday), Geo News reported.

In a message from London, Altaf Hussain said the way MQM workers were being killed extra-judicially after arresting them has left behind the state oppressions of the past against his party.

Altaf Hussain urged MQM workers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to record their protest by holding peaceful demonstrations.

He also demanded of the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif to arrest the police personnel involved in the extra-judicial killings besides trying them.
