Hold CM Sindh responsible for the killings of 36 MQM workers: Altaf
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain said on Thursday that he holds Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah solely responsible for the killing of Sohail Ahmed Shaheed along with the deaths of 36 other MQM workers.

The MQM Chief went on to say that it was government officials who arrested Sohail Ahmed, Unit 64 In-charge, on 15 December 2014. Following the incident, the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, CM Sindh, as well as other officials were all informed about it and three press conferences were held by MQM, however, he was killed on January 28.

Hussain further said that while the body of Sohail Ahmed Shaheed was being dumped in Mochko Goth, the CM Sindh was on a tirade in the Assembly session, terming MQM mourners with four bodies at the CM House an ‘attack’.

The MQM Chief said that just like the CM Sindh, none of the other coward cabinet ministers had the decency for even a minute to call Nine Zero or the MQM International Secretariat in London for condolence.

He went on to say that it seemed that it was impossible to arrest any killers responsible for the deaths of the 36 MQM workers.
