Sindh govt forms commission to probe murders of MQM activists
KARACHI: The Sindh government on Friday formed a one-member judicial commission to investigate the murders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement activists Suhail Ahmed and Faraz Alam.

According to a spokesman for Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, the commission will be headed by Justice (retd) Ghulam Sarwar.

The commission has been tasked to investigate the murders and submit its report within 10 days.

The MQM has been protesting against the alleged extra-judicial killing of its workers in Karachi and Sindh. Alam was killed under police custody in December while body of Suhail Ahmed, the unit in-charge of MQM's Society sector, was found from Mauripur's Mochko Goth on Wednesday.
