Sectarian, banned outfits killing MQM workers: Rizvi
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi on Monday said that ‘outlawed and sectarian organizations’ were targeting and killing his party workers.

Addressing a press conference here along with other coordination committee members, MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said workers of his party were being targeted on the basis of sect, adding Imran Abbas Rizvi, a party worker, was shot and killed a day earlier in the Shadman Town area.

He alleged that nobody was taking action against the terrorists who were involved in the ‘sectarian terrorism’, adding that it seems that terrorists were invisible to the rulers.

“Terrorists have secured a license to kill while the proscribed outfits were operating freely, specially, in Orangi Town area of the metropolis”, Rizvi claimed.

The MQM leader further said the residences of MQM office bearers were facing regular raids, while the sectarian killers of MQM workers weren’t being arrested.

He demanded of the government to arrests the killers of MQM workers, adding that thousands of party workers and four elected representatives of the MQM have so far been assassinated.

“Is there no one to stop the terrorists? Are the raids only meant to aim at targeting the residences of MQM workers and its office bearers?”, asked Haider Abbas Rizvi.
