Security forces apprehend TTP militant in Sarai Naurang
BANNU: A Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist was apprehended on Friday in an information-based operation (IBO) in Sarai Naurang near Bannu.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militant Sargana Rasool Khan was involved in terrorist activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA.

Security forces also recovered 100 CNICs, three fake passports, along with a cache of arms from Sargana’s possession.

On December 16, terrorists carried out one of the most horrific attacks in the history of Pakistan. TTP terrorists brutally killed over 150 people mostly children at the Army Public School in Peshawar.

Following the attack, government and political parties expressed a renewed resolve to fight terrorism in the country. The prime minister also lifted the moratorium on the death penalty in terrorism cases.
