Imran Ismail tells MQM to rein in hooligans

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail reacting after an altercation between PTI and MQM workers at Jinnah Ground alleged that many of his supporters have been injured by MQM hooligans.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Ismail said that he will register an FIR of the incident and claimed that the MQM is trying to make them (PTI) run away from the election.

At the press conference Ismail said, that MQM should rein in their thugs, adding, that no area should be allowed to be any party’s property.

He said, MQM workers smashed the windows of my car adding that the MQM is trying to spread fear in their hearts, but nor he nor his party can be scared.

He added that MQM workers threw stones and were smashing his car with sticks and bats. He stressed, that it was this same violence that PTI is trying to eliminate.
