RAWALPINDI: Model Ayyan Ali appeared before a banking court on Tuesday due to the non-appointment of a judge at the customs court.

The court expressed its anger with custom officials over their failure to present a complete charge-sheet directing them to do so.

Ayyan Ali’s judicial remand was extended till May 08 as her 40-day remand had expired. This was the model’s fifth appearance in court.

Ayyan Ali was arrested from the Islamabad Airport on March 14 by customs officials accused of attempting to smuggle $500,000 to Dubai.
