Naegleria claims one more life in Sindh

KARACHI: Naegleria virus has claimed another life, raising the death toll to four in Sindh province, Geo News reported.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, 43, resident of district Thatta was diagnosed with Naegleria and was admitted in a private hospital in Karachi two days back.

To battle the growing threat of Naegleria Fowleri deaths, the Sindh Health Department has constituted a six member committee to focus on preventive measures against the disease.
