SHC orders not to arrest Mirza for one week

The SHC has summoned the Chief Secretary, Interior Secretary and IGP on Monday. The court also ordered that Zulfiqar Mirza be provided SP level security.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar directed that Zulfiqar Mirza and his wife Fehmida Mirza be provided security. Nisar said that political matters should be resolved politically.
The interior minister added that any assault on the media would not be tolerated.
Earlier, police detained 24 guards of Zulfiqar Mirza outside the Sindh High Court.
Images on television showed masked personnel of the Special Security Unit assaulting people and breaking windows of cars which were part of Mirza’s convoy.
