Suicide bombers among seven terrorists killed in Karachi raids: Rangers
KARACHI: Five terrorists were killed while two blew up their suicide vests on Tuesday in separate operations by Rangers personnel in Karachi’s Orangi Town and Landhi areas, Rangers said.

According to Rangers spokesman Brigadier Khurram, Rangers working with intelligence agencies acted on a tip-off and carried out three separate operations in Mominabad and Al Sadaf areas of Orangi Town and Landhi.

Five terrorists were killed by Rangers fire, while two were killed as they blew up their suicide vests.

He said that security personnel recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives, including rockets, six suicide jackets, and explosive material from the terrorists.

The Rangers spokesman said that the terrorists were planning to launch a rocket attack on the Malir Cantonment area.

“We have recovered rockets which the terrorists were planning to use in an attack on Malir Cantonment,” he said.
