Six arrested for manhandling polling staff in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: Police have arrested six people including a councilor on charges of snatching ballot boxes and manhandling polling staff during Local Government elections in Mansehra district.

According to police, six people were rounded up after the Returning Officers filed a complaint against them for torturing staff during the polling for Local Government elections.

Police have registered 10 cases and arrested 6 people including newly elected General Councilor Haider Ali Khan and his brother. The police also recovered ballot boxes from their possession.
