MQM sees enemies of Pakistan as its own foes: Altaf Hussain

Addressing a general workers meeting here in Karachi, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said some people were bent upon proving that MQM is an agent of Indian intelligence agency, saying, if need arose, his party would join hands with Pakistan army to fight RAW.
He said attempts were being made to declare MQM as an Indian agent by using an alleged statement of Tariq Mir.
"Those calling MQM an agent of RAW are themselves external and internal agents", Altaf rebuffed his critics.
He said work was in progress on 'minus-Altaf' formula, adding the ‘forged’ statement of Tariq Mir was aimed at misleading people and to fill their minds with hatred for him (Altaf).
He warned of a war in every street of the country in case efforts were made to push him against the wall.
Altaf said there was no room for terrorists, extortionists and thieves in his party. "We will throw out the criminals within the party’s rank and you can go ahead and capture them," he added.
"Collection of extortion and snatching the hides of sacrificial animals is not part of my teachings," Altaf told his workers.
He said his rivals blamed him of making ‘Jinnahpur’ after they failed to assassinate him. He said, later his companions advised him to leave the country after he (Altaf) escaped several attacks on his life.
The MQM leader also asked his workers to prepare themselves for a ‘Dharna’ (sit-in), saying if Imran Khan is capable of holding a Dharna for three months then his party (MQM) can do so for 6 months.
It may be noted here that the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) had, in an investigative report a few days ago, accused the MQM of receiving funds from India. The story quoted two leaders of the party as confessing to receiving funds from India.
