SHC orders Axact CEO to seek security clearance for TV channel
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court on Friday ordered Shoaib Sheikh, detained Chief Executive Officer of Axact, and others to seek security clearance for company’s TV channel once again.

A division bench of the SHC comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro also withdrew a stay order on inclusion of Axact officers into Labbaik TV channel.

The bench upheld interior ministry’s order that asked Shoib Sheikh, Aisha Sheikh, Waqas Atiq and Sarwat Bashir, to seek security clearance for Axact’s TV channel.

The interior ministry had canceled security clearance of Labbaik TV channel over joining of Shoaib Sheikh and others.

Shoib Sheikh and others had got a stay order against the interior ministry’s instructions.

The court further ruled that a security clearance was also required for replacement of TV channel’s administration.
