PTI’s Vawda terms ‘inadequate security’ to Imran a conspiracy
KARACHI: Claiming high-ranked officials of Sindh Police being used as puppets of the provincial government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda early on Monday termed ‘inadequate security’ provided to Imran Khan a conspiracy against his party.

In a statement issued here, he claimed that DIG South Dr Jamil Ahmed was deliberately taking anti-PTI actions at the behest of the Sindh rulers. He urged the police officer to perform his duties instead of acting like a politician.

Vawda further claimed that his party was being targeted for raising voice against IGP Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali and other corrupt officials of Sindh Police.

The Sindh government and IGP Sindh would be responsible if anything happens to the PTI chairman, he warned.

The PTI leader went on to say that multiple protest sit-ins would be staged across the Sindh capital if prevailing corruption was not curtailed by the authorities concerned.

Faisal Vawda also demanded immediate termination of the IGP Sindh.
