Flood warning issued for some cities as rain lashes Punjab
ISLAMABAD: A flood warning has been issued on Tuesday for Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala and Sialkot after torrential rains have lashed parts of Punjab and canals have also swamped several areas.

Holidays for employees of all concerned government departments have been canceled for any disaster management arrangements required.

Persistent rainfall in Rawalpindi and Islamabad initially turned the weather pleasant but eventually caused hardships to several commuters.

At least four people were killed in various rain related incidents in Rawalpindi today.

In addition, Metro bus stops in Islamabad have also been inundated.

Multan and Faisalabad are also receiving intermittent rainfall.

A spokesperson of Met Office said that heavy rainfall is expected in Lahore and Gujranwala during the next 36 hours.
