Azhar links victory against Sri Lanka to teamwork
LAHORE: Pakistan’s ODI captain Azhar Ali on Tuesday linked the series win against Sri Lanka to teamwork, saying there are fewer examples when every player had performed in a series.

Speaking to media representatives here, he, however, regretted losing the last ODI saying the players could not repeat the previous performances in the fifth match.

Azhar Ali admitted that he was under immense pressure after returning to one-day cricket. Sri Lanka was a tough competitive side at home, said the skipper, who thanked the Almighty for the brilliant performance by the whole team leading to the series victory.

Replying to a question, Ali said promoting wicket keeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed in the batting order was a part of the plan, which he added worked out successfully.
