Rangers arrest ‘wanted target killers’ in Karachi raid
KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers claim to have arrested two ‘hardened target killers’ involved in murder of at least 15 people in a raid carried out here in Gulshan-e-Maymar neighbourhood on Friday.

According to a spokesman for the paramilitary force, one suspect identified as Mirza Zeeshan was allegedly involved in the killing of 12 people while the other, Tanvir alias Baba Bihari was wanted for the murder of three persons.

The suspects were arrested during a raid in Gulshan-e-Maymar area of the metropolis today, he added.

The two suspects, allegedly belonging to ‘a political party’, have been sent on a 90-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court of the city.

The Rangers and police have intensified their operation, launched in 2013 against criminals and terrorists, in the violence-hit economic hub of Pakistan.
