Sindh Police is a defaulter of Rs2.1 billion: KE

KARACHI: Karachi Electric (KE) on Tuesday said the utility company would sever the power supply to Sindh police, if they failed to pay their dues amounting to Rs2.1 billion by tomorrow (Wednesday).

In a tweet, KE said the Sindh police are a defaulter of over Rs2.1 billion, adding not a single payment has been received from them for the last 13 months and the final notice period will expire tonight.

The KE has urged Inspector General of Police (IGP), Chief Minister Sindh and the Home Minister to issue instructions for clearance of dues on immediate basis.
