Won’t be deterred by cowardly terror attacks: PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has condemned the firing incident on Military Police van on M.A Jinnah Road, Karachi, in which two police personnel were killed.

“We would not be deterred by such cowardly terrorist attacks on our brave Jawans,” said the Prime Minister in a statement issued here on Tuesday.

He said peace and stability is the future of Karachi, which is because of the national resolve against terrorists and great sacrifices made by our Jawans.

“We are proud of the martyred Jawans who laid down sacrifice of their lives for peaceful and prosperous Pakistan,” the PM said.

Sympathizing deeply with the families of the martyred, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah to grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.

Earlier today, two military police personnel were martyred in Karachi when their jeep came under fire attack by unknown armed men.
