Number of players opposing Amir's inclusion continues to rise
LAHORE: While Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan already made it clear on Thursday that players may face disciplinary action for taking a stand against fast bowler Mohammad Amir’s inclusion in a fitness camp ahead of the New Zealand tour, it seems the message has not received loud and clear.

On Friday the number of players opposing Amir’s inclusion climbed to 12.

Earlier ODI Captain Azhar Ali and Mohammed Hafeez took a stand against Amir’s inclusion with the ODI captian being quoted to have said,

“We will not attend camp as long as Amir is also there,” terming Amir's presence in the camp as unacceptable.

Meanwhile Mohammed Hafeez had earlier publicly refused to play for Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) team Chittagong as it meant he would have to share a dressing room with Amir.

“It is my personal opinion that I can’t share the dressing room with someone who hurt my country’s integrity,” Hafeez had said after refusing to play for the BPL team.
