TTP declare nationwide ceasefire

PESHAWAR: A senior Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander has said the movement has declared a cease-fire and halted attacks around the country in support of peace talks.

On Monday, senior commanders in TTP claimed to be holding initial peace talks with the government that could end a wave of bombings.

However claims of talks with the TTP have been denied by the ISPR.
