JI wants govt to hold mid-term polls immediately
ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan Sunday said the government was no longer able to face the nation due to its poor performance and called for it to hold elections immediately, Geo News reported.

Addressing a public rally against price hike and corruption here in Karachi Company area, Munawar Hassan said drone attacks had begun again after a period of lull and the President and Prime Minister had not even lodged their protest against it.

He lamented that the government was not implementing the rulings of the Supreme Court while the Constitution was being shredded to pieces.

"With Zardari there will always be price hike and with Gilani the list of missing persons would only grow bigger," he criticised.

Lambasting Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif, the JI Amir said he (Nawaz Sharif) continued to remain 'the crutches' of the government.
