Abrupt shortfall in the power generation was due to a technical fault in some power plants, adding measures were being taken on emergency basis to fix it.
He said power crisis is a national issue and asked for the nation's cooperation to deal with it. He said angry protests and ransacking of public and private property was not the solution of this issue.
Naveed Qamar asserted that three provinces have started implementing the decisions of energy conference but regretted that the fourth, which called for a moot, was not doing so.
