Lahore stocks lose 103.86 points
LAHORE: Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday as it shed 103.86 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 3650.56 and closed at 3546.70 points.

The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 1.952 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.252 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.300 million shares. While, out of the total 101 active scrips only 5 moved up, 57 remained equal and 39 shed values.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Pakistan Refinery Limited and Hira Textile Mills Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.35, Rs 1.17 and Re 0.64 respectively.

Muslim Commercial Bank Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Lucky Cement Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.03, Rs 4.98 and Rs 4.20 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 366,691 shares, Lafarge Pakistan Cement with 341,828 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 253,039 shares. (APP)
