QUETTA: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has ordered the IGFC to recover the seven missing persons in the Balochitan and present them before the court in ten days.

The Supreme Court resumed hearing of the Balochistan law and order case at its Quetta Registry. During proceedings, Chief Justice Chaudhry asked the IGFC about the accusations levelled against the FC regarding the abduction of people. The IGFC replied that he was cooperating with the government in the missing person cases and orders have been issued to all commandants to assure the families of those missing that all efforts were being made for their recovery.

The Chief Justice told the IGFC to inform his commandants to present the missing persons otherwise the court would issue an order within five minutes. After hearing this, the IGFC left the courtroom and reappeared after awhile and informed the court that the country’s well being was in danger in Balochistan.
