Pak HC denies link with passport scandal
LONDON: Pakistani High Commission has denied link with the passport scandal, saying it is not involved with the matter.

According to the statement issued by Pakistani High Commission here on Monday, The commission officials maintains liaison with the British authorities and they are regularly attending officials attend security meetings.

Moreover, in a coordination meeting regarding the participation of Pakistani squad in the Olympic games, held in the High Commission for Pakistan here today, the President of the Pakistan Olympics Association, Lt Gen (Retd) Arif Hassan categorically stated that the documents of the 39-member Pakistani contingent were prepared through proper laid down process of the International Olympics Committee and there is no possibility of anybody procuring fake accreditation for London Olympics 2012.

The Ministry of Interior in Islamabad has taken serious note of the media reports and is probing/investigation into issues mentioned in the news report, the statement added.
