Mobile service to remain suspended till 10:00am: Malik

Talking to media, Rehman Malik said mobiles phones are being used for blasts and service in Karachi is suspended owing to this threat.
The Interior Minister, however, clarified that mobile services would not be shut throughout the country. Service is suspended in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Multan for precautionary measures, he added.
He said if needed service would also be suspended in Islamabad as well.
On Sunday night reports were received that consumers were facing difficulty in receiving mobile phone reception in areas of Karachi, Lahore and Multan. Reports were also received that the service of all mobile companies were suspended in Quetta.
