PPP will contest elections with allies: President Zardari

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari reiterated on Sunday that the PPP believed in the policy of reconciliation and was moving forward with this in mind.

President Zardari was meeting ministers from the PPP at the Bilawal House here.

The president added that the PPP had made numerous sacrifices for democracy.

On elections, President Zardari said that is was an election year and they would be held in a free and fair manner.

He urged party representatives to not make any statements against coalition partners and announced that the PPP would contest the next elections alongside its allies.
