Minor errors in voter lists to be rectified: CEC
ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has said that voter lists are prepared with great struggle and minor errors, if any, would be rectified, Geo News reported.

The meeting of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) held under the chair of justice (retd) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim. The ECP deliberated on applications against 45 MPs of national and provincial assemblies on dual nationality, election symbols and other issues.

The CEC said the issue of voter lists of Karachi is in the court, adding any error in these lists would be rectified.

According to sources, during the briefing, it was informed the meeting that installation of CCTV camera at all the polling station is not possible, adding camera would only be installed at sensitive station. Transparency international has assured assistance for this.
