Peshawar airport, airbase cleared after search operation: PAF
ISLAMABAD: Peshawar airport, air force base and adjacent areas have been cleared after search operation, Geo News reported.

Spokesman of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Group Captain Tariq Mehmood said security forces have full control of the airport and routine work is being carried on.

He said after militants’ attack, security forces launched search operation at 11:00 PM and finished it at 2:00 AM.

The spokesman further said security high alert was issued at other PAF bases after Peshawar attack.

Air Chief Marshal and Chief of Air Staff acknowledged successful operation of the security forces, he added.
