Initial report on operation against Peshawar airport attackers prepared
PESHAWAR: Police and secret agencies have jointly prepared an initial investigation report regarding the operation against the attackers of Peshawar Airport and Paoka, official sources said.

According to the official sources, the report said that the number of terrorists involved in the attack could be more than 10, who reached the airport in three cars.

The terrorists attacked from three different sides and the purpose of the assault was to take control of the airport for a long duration, the report said.

The report further said that the terrorists attacked with anti-tank mines from one side, however, they failed to collapse the wall after which they attacked with a car bomb.

Terrorists were carrying orion injections, dates and bottles of water with them, the report added.

A detail report regarding the incident would be prepared after one week.
