Pakistan denies its troops killed Indian soldiers
RAWALPINDI: The Director General Military Operations for the Pakistan Army on Wednesday talked to his Indian counterpart via telephone and rejected New Delhi’s claim that Pakistan troops killed their two soldiers in a cross border raid, Geo News reported.

Pakistani military authorities dubbed New Delhi’s claim as propaganda and said: “our troops did not carry out attack. Indians are making counter claim to cover their attack on a Pakistani post,” the senior military official was quoted by local media as saying.

The Indian attack on Pakistani check-post killed a soldier and injured two others over the weekend.

AFP Adds: Pakistan on Wednesday again denied an Indian claim that its troops killed two Indian soldiers in a cross-border attack, a military official said.

"Indian authorities were informed that Pakistan has carried out ground verification and checked and found nothing of this sort happened as being alleged by India," the official told reporters in a text message.
