Citizens begin ‘petrol march’ ahead of TMQ long-march
ISLAMABAD: As the capital city braces itself for Tahirul Qadri’s proposed Jan 14 long-march, the citizens of twin cities on Friday began what Geo News described as “petrol march” as they waited at fuel stations for hours to get petrol.

Long queues of vehicles were seen standing at different fuel stations waiting for their turn. Some of the citizens succeeded in getting petrol amid fears that the petrol would be not be available during the march while many returned empty handed.

“I am waiting here for petrol…my son is ill and we have to visit doctor,” said a woman. A petrol pump manager said the fuel stations had not yet received any notice to close the outlets.
