Shujaat holds negotiations with Qadri on long march

LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain held a meeting with Tehrik-e-Minhajul Quran leader Tahirul Qadri here on Friday night, Geo News reported.

Talking to media after the meeting, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain said negotiations on long march have been started and that demands of Qadri would be got implemented.

On the occasion, Qadri said negotiations did not mean long march was being postponed, adding it will be held at any cost.

Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi was also present on the occasion. He said talks would continue till final results.

It may be noted here that government had tasked Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain to refrain Qadri from leading long march towards Islamabad.
