Inclement  weather claims 28 lives across Pakistan
HARIPUR: At least 28 people lost their lives and several others were injured in rain and snowfall related incidents in different parts of Punjab as well as Malakand and Hazara Divisions, Geo News reported Tuesday.

Six people including three children and two women of the same family were washed away in flooding rain-water drain near Talokar area in Haripur, while one body of a child was retrieved and one person was rescued alive. Search for others continues.

One person died and three othres were wounded when a wall of a hotel caved in, at Pindi Bhatian area in Hafizabad.

Two teenage brothers died and eight people were injured when the roof of a house collapsed at the Afghan Mohajir Camp in Swabi.

Three passerby's died in an avalanche at Malikkhel Amnavi area of Shangla, while a vehicle skidded down a deep ravine near Bisham Lahore Nala resulting in the death of one person.
