Drone strikes ‘clear violation’ of Pak sovereignty: Sherry

WASHINGTON: Pakistani Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman has said that CIA drone strikes in Pakistan are “a clear violation of our sovereignty and a violation of international law” that threaten stable relations between Islamabad and Washington, US newspaper The Washington Post reported.

The Washington Post quoted Sherry Rehman as saying that persistent reports that Pakistan has tacitly approved the strikes while publicly denouncing them are untrue.
