Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif regularises grade 1-16 contract employees

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shabaz Shairf has announced that grade 1-16 contract employees of the provincial government will be regularised.

Addressing a gathering here, Shahbaz said he wanted to start several developmental projects but the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had placed restrictions on the fund.

The Punjab chief minister added that he does not raise slogans of a Tsunami and only wants to work. Criticising the president, Shahbaz said Zardari had only given inflation and darkness to the people.

According to Shahbaz despite the price of petroleum products being raised the fare of the metro bus service remained unchanged.
