Imran Khan's PTI finalizes consultation on Punjab candidates

LAHORE: Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has completed consultations over names of its candidates for contesting upcoming elections on national and provincial assembly seats in the Punjab.

According to PTI spokesman, the party has shortlisted names of three candidates each against every national and provincial constituency. The final list of candidates will be approved by the party’s central parliamentary board, he added.

The spokesman further said that the past political record of the candidates will be scrutinized for reaching a conclusion in connection with their nomination.
