Political parties to formally start election campaign today

ISLAMABAD: The political parties would formally start election campaign for the May 11 election, that would mark the first democratic transition of power in the country’s 66 year history, today (Saturday) and would continue till May 9, Geo News reported.

According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, election campaign would start today and the candidates would have 20 days for canvassing before the election is held on May 11. It said that the campaign would continue till May 9.
