Kazakhstan’s Gen Zhasuzakov, Gen Rashad discuss defence cooperation

RAWALPINDI: Colonel General Zhasuzakov Sakin Adilkhanovich, First Deputy Defence Minister & Chief of General Staff, Kazakhstan, who is on official visit to Pakistan, called on General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee at the Joint Staff Headquarters here on Tuesday.

Both dignitaries discussed matters of professional interest and agreed to enhance mutual cooperation between the two Armed Forces.

The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in fight against terrorism.

Earlier, upon arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, he was presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out contingent of tri-services.
