Hamza Shahbaz lauds Rangers’ efforts to bring ‘change’ in Karachi

WAZIRABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and son of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz on Wednesday said today Karachi is changing due to anti-terrorist actions being carried out by Pakistan Rangers Sindh.

Speaking at various public gatherings organised in connection with upcoming NA-101 by-election, he said Rangers paramilitary force, Pakistan Army and the political leadership of the country was on the same page.

Hamza said Pakistan was once recognised by terrorism and today traders are witnesses of a changing-Karachi. “Peace has now prevailed [in Karachi] after years,” he added.

The PML-N MNA said his party loves Sindh as much as Punjab despite having no government in the southern province of the country.

He said the masses have to win the war against terrorism. “Terrorists will have to lose and 200 million Pakistanis to win this war,” he added.

Hamza Shahbaz further said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who happens to be his paternal uncle, has been elected for the third time to bring prosperity in Pakistan. He has no other intention but to make the country affluent, he added.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring employment opportunities for the country’s youth, said the PML-N leader.
