Poaching case to haunt Salman Khan once again

An 18-year-old chinkara poaching case against Bollywood actor Salman Khan is in the news again after the Rajastan government filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court against his acquittal.

"Hearing on our SLP is expected to come up some time after Diwali vacations," Shiv Mangal Sharma, Additional Advocate General of the Rajasthan government in Supreme Court, the NDTV.

On July 25 the Rajasthan High Court acquitted Salman Khan who was accused of killing two chinkaras in separate incidents.

The case surfaced in 1998 when Salman Khan was shooting for the movie ‘Hum Saath Saath hai’.
