Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan offered his own two cents on the phone call between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and US President-elect Donald Trump which has got the world talking.

Imran Khan said it is a good thing that PM Nawaz Sharif has spoken to President-elect Donald Trump but added that even a letter from Trump cannot save the Prime Minister from the Panama Leaks case.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called Donald Trump on Wednesday to congratulate him on his victory. The two leaders had a pleasant conversation, according to the transcript released by the PM House.

"President Trump said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif you have a very good reputation. You are a terrific guy. You are doing amazing work which is visible in every way," the statement read.

Khan, reacting to the conversation, tweeted:

The Supreme Court is hearing the Panama Leaks case on the petitions filed by the opposition parties including PTI. After Wednesday’s hearing, the PTI leadership appeared optimistic about the outcome of the case.
