Reuters journalist died due to blockage of respiratory tract, says autopsy
ISLAMABAD: The initial autopsy report of foreign journalist Maria Golovnina, revealed on Thursday that she died due to blockage in the upper part of her respiratory tract.

A copy of the post mortem report available to Geo News also revealed that there were three marks on her neck.

The report further said that her lips, hands, and feet were blue.

The body of the journalist from Russia, was found in the bathroom of a house being used as an office on February 23 in Islamabad’s F-8 area.

Maria Golovnina was the bureau chief of Reuters for Pakistan and Afghanistan since 2013.
