KARACHI: Pakistan's current account deficit stood at a provisional $75 million in July, the first month of the 2011/12 fiscal year, compared with a deficit of $631 million in the same month last year, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Wednesday.
The current account recorded a revised surplus of $437 million in 2010/11, compared with a deficit of $3.946 billion in 2009/10, according to data from the Central Bank.
