JOHANNESBURG: After some testing times at the start India managed to reach 70 for the loss of the 2 openers at lunch on day 1 of the first Test against S.Africa in Johannesburg.

India would be happy with losing just two wickets in the first session considering the kind of assistance seamers were getting from the wicket.

Kohli and Pujara have done a decent job so far and have added unbeaten 46 runs for the third-wicket partnership.

Graeme Smith introduced Imran Tahir in the final over before lunch, and Virat Kohli welcomed the spinner with a boundary off the first ball and ended it with another boundary.

That last over before lunch produced ten runs for the Indian team, and it also suggested that someone like Virat Kohli would target the only spinner.
