KARACHI: The initial report of the suicide attack targeting a Rangers vehicle has been presented. The report states fingers of the suicide bomber have been sent to the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) for verification.

The report clarified that no security personnel had been injured in the attack which took place when the Rangers vehicle was passing through the Qayyumabad area of Karachi.

According to Rangers’ spokesman, Wing Commander of Ghazi Rangers along with security personnel was on way to Defence and was passing through Qayyumabad area when a suicide bomber blew himself in front of his vehicle, causing damage to the car.

The attack was the second successive attack in as many days targeting personnel of law enforcement agencies. On Thursday a car bombing claimed by the Taliban resulted in the death of 13 policemen.
