Woman throws acid on man for refusing marriage proposal in Multan

MULTAN: Police on Thursday registered a case against a woman who threw acid on a man after he refused to marry her in Makhdoom Rasheed area of Multan.
The victim was was critically injured in the acid attack. Police said a mother of four children identified as Shamim, and 25-year-old Sadaqat had illicit relations and when he refused to marry Shamim, she threw acid on him.
Sadaqat was shifted to Nishtar Hospital in a critical situation.
The father of victim Sadaqat has confirmed that the woman threw acid on his son after he refused to get married.
Makhdoom police have initiated action for further investigation.
